blixKAT was started to fill a need… Having worked in the Entertainment Business for over 20 years we noticed that there are a lot of amazing technologies available for those of you who like to create content. Unfortunately for many a lot of that technology is financially out of reach, or just doesn’t hit the right needs. Our goal is to provide alternatives that more content creators can get their hands on, but still provide that “specialized equipment” feel that sets the tools we use to make content apart from “off the shelf” solutions.
There are many companies providing “budget friendly” products to create media. Those products are amazing, but they tend to be built with a “one size fits all” mentality because a big company needs to sell a lot of product to cover their costs. They have big overhead with lots of employees and offices to pay for. So when they create something great sometimes they need to “flatten” the product a bit so that they can hit the most amount of buyers.
We, on the other hand, like to keep things small. We want to be nimble and be able to take our customers feedback and put it to good use. blixKAT is family owned and run. We try to keep our overhead small so we can pour more resources into our products. We hope you enjoy what we make and we are always looking for new ideas to improve what we have or even create a new products that help fill a need that you may have but can’t seem to quite find the right answer to.
